HEIGHTS — The city Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring day trips for residents 55 and over and for non-resident Senior Citizen Club Members. The trips are scheduled for July and August.
Transportation to and from all events is provided by deluxe motor coach and will depart from the Berwyn Senior Center, 26155 Richardson, and Eton Senior Center, 4900 Pardee. Registration for all events is on a first come, first served basis.

• Conklin Antique Reed Organ Museum, Jackson, July 7: The museum displays about 95 restored and working antique reed organs. Participants also will get a tour of the museum building, the historic 1911 Hanover High School building, as well as a demonstration of playing reed organs. Lunch and a wagon ride around the 82-acre park will follow the museum tour.
Depart from Berwyn Center at 8:15 a.m. and Eton Center at 8:30 a.m.; approximate return time is 4 p.m.
Cost is $17 for Dearborn Heights residents, and $22 for non-resident club members. Registration ends June 26.
• Detroit Princess Lunch Cruise, July 24: Participants can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch and dance to Motown sounds while cruising the Detroit River.
Depart from Eton Center at 10:30 a.m. and Berwyn Center at 10:45 a.m.; approximate return time is 3:30 p.m.
Cost is $42 for Dearborn Heights residents, and $47 for non-resident club members. Registration runs from June 25 to July 17.
• Put-in-Bay, Ohio, Aug. 14: Participants can take a narrated tour of South Bass Island on a private tour train with photo opportunities at landmarks, as well as a tour of Perry’s International Peace Memorial followed by lunch at Tipper’s. Tours after lunch will include Doller Museum and Put-in-Bay Winery.
Depart from Berwyn Center at 7:15 a.m. and Eton Center at 7:30 a.m.; approximate return time is 7:30 p.m.
Cost is $63 for Dearborn Heights residents, and $68 for non-resident club members. Registration runs from July 15 to Aug. 11.
