“Grassroots Marketing,” the second in a series of business basics workshops offered by LaunchDETROIT, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 30 at Baker College, 4500 Enterprise Drive in Allen Park.
Admission is $10.
LaunchDETROIT is a micro-loan finance program developed by Rotary District 6400. The workshops are led by Rotarians who have expertise and business background in each subject matter.
The June 30 workshop will be led by Rotarians Kim Spirou, owner of Spirou & Associates, a public relations and marketing firm in Windsor, Ontario; Mary Ferris, management consultant and former CEO of a Detroit healthcare non-profit; and Margaret Blohm, president of Margaux & Associates in Dearborn.
The multi-pronged program offers qualifying entrepreneurs a combination of free business training in partnership with Baker College, loans of $1,000 to $2,500, assigned business mentors and networking opportunities.
