DEARBORN — Police are looking for assistance from the community in locating a man suspected of robbing Chase bank, 7301 Wyoming, at 10 a.m. last Wednesday.
Dearborn Police Det. Lindsey Campeau said a man entered the bank, approached a teller and presented a note demanding money.
Campeau said the man never showed a weapon but implied that he was armed.
The teller handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the bank in an unknown direction.
The robber was described as a black male in his late 20s to early 40s, 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark baseball hat and sunglasses.
Campeau said the Police Department is working
with local FBI agents on the case and that it may be related to similar incidents in southeast Michigan.
