Dearborn Symphony supporters are going to new heights to raise money.
They will gather on the top floor of the West Parking Deck in downtown west Dearborn from 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 6 for Cars, Cigars and Jazz. Classic and antique cars will be shown on all four levels of the parking structure in downtown west Dearborn.
Tickets are $35. a $2 parking fee will be collected at the door.

The party is expected to draw car enthusiasts from those who enjoy muscle cars to those attracted to polished antique cars.
The event also will feature a cigar aficionado’s display of wares, a silent auction and small plates of food provided by local restaurants. An open bar will feature wine and craft beers.
Entertainment will be provided by Metro Jazz Voices, a four-part harmony quartet backed by a rhythm quartet. The members are Meri Slaven, Nicci Der-Stepanian and Jeremy St. Martin; vocals; Carl Cafagna, vocals, saxophone and flute; Jordan Schug, bass; and Mike Higgins, drums.
Their repertoire includes such favorite tunes as “Pennies from Heaven,” “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard” and “Over the Rainbow.”
