Chamber YEA! program accepting applications for 2014-15

DEARBORN — Applications for the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneurs Academy Fall 2014 class are being accepted through Sept.30.

YEA! classes begin Oct. 30 and run through June 4, 2015.

YEA! is a program that guides students in grades 7 through 12 through launching and running their own actual business or social movements. While in the program, students will receive tools to launch their own legal business, including resources like attorneys, accountants, business mentors, graphic designers and an audience with investors for real start-up cash.

Classes will be held at the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Mardigian Library, 4901 Evergreen.

Applications are available online at www.dearbornareachamber.org or by calling 313-584-6100. Completed applications may be sent to: Dearborn Area Chamber Young Entrepreneurs Academy, Attention: Ron Hinrichs, YEA! Program Manager, 22100 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI, 48124, or faxed to Hinrichs at 313-584-9818.
