Tolstoy
Tolstoy, an adult male domestic shorthair, arrived at the shelter from a hoarding situation. He’s friendly, but scared of his new surroundings. He is neutered, up to date with shots, and good with other cats.
Kenny, special needs rescue
Kenny, a 5- to 7-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix, arrived at the shelter as a stray. The skin from his lower jaw hangs down like a flap (it was once pulled down and detached from his jaw and has now healed that way) and he drags his back legs at times, though the shelter is not sure why. His hind legs do not allow him to jump because they cannot support the weight of his body. He is incredibly friendly, happy and loving. He is up to date with shots, good with other dogs, but not good with cats. He was neutered at the shelter. Fosters may contact the adoption center by email at [email protected] for additional information. A video of Kenny using his donated mobility cart for the first time is available at www.facebook.com/video.php?v=828136020565044.
