ALLEN PARK – One of the two men suspected in a Sept. 8 robbery in Champaign Park, was recently spotted at a Taylor gas station.

The two men are believed to have robbed four people at gunpoint of their cell phones, personal items and credit cards at the park. Ten minutes later the victims’ credit cards were used at a convenience store.

Police arrested one of the men and are searching for the other culprit.

Taylor police said the man also may be linked to crimes there.

Investigators describe the man as black, in his early 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and reportedly lives in or frequents an apartment complex in the south-central section of Taylor.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Allen Park Police Detective Sgt. Vince Genaw at 313-386-6688.
