DEARBORN — Police are asking for help to find a man who robbed PNC Bank, 23153 Michigan Ave., just before 5 p.m. Oct. 3.
According to a press release issued by the Police Department, the man approached the teller and handed her a note requesting money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction.
Cameras inside the bank were able to capture images of the man.
He was described as a black male between 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build and a noticeable beard and mustache. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, blue jeans and a red hat, with white “Detroit Red Wings” written on the front of it.
“This is the type of incident that calls for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad in the release. “With the help of our community partners, I am confident we can identify this individual quickly before he is able to victimize anyone else.”
