TAYLOR — At least two if not three new members will soon take seats on the Taylor Public Schools Board of Education. Next month’s general election ballot includes three expiring positions on the panel, only one of which is being sought by a current trustee.
The seats held by Linda Newsome, Nancy Myers and Norman Stachulski — who last year was appointed to complete the term of Mary Moore — expire at the end of the year. The only incumbent seeking re-election is Stachulski, a self-described organizer and magazine writer who has volunteered with the Taylor Reading Corps and has a child in the district.
Challengers seeking to be one of three voter selections are
Blaine Honeycutt, a volunteer with Taylor Community Emergency Response Team; Barry M. Inman, who has served with the Taylor Community Emergency Response Team; and newcomers Douglas Meyers and Thomas Zorn.
