Fast becoming a favorite tradition for local families, Santa’s Magic Forest will open for its seventh season on Nov. 29 courtesy of Downriver Fish & Loaves. “Downriver’s Finest Holiday Display,” as it is billed, kicks off at noon when Santa Claus arrives in a parade-fronting firetruck. The collected pieces of the forest and its holiday displays includes decorations from J.L. Hudson, including animated figures and scenery. Admission is $3, free for children under 3, with photos available for purchase from Rosecrans Picture Perfect Photography. Santa’s Magic Forest will be open at the Heritage Park Activity Building, 12111 Pardee, through Dec. 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays, 1 to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Proceeds from the forest benefit Downriver Fish & Loaves community food pantry. For more information go to www.DownriverFishAndLoaves.org.
