A visit to the holiday-themed Fantasyland has long been a favorite Lincoln Park tradition, and opened last week for its 50th annual seasonal display. The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce once again has transformed the Kennedy Memorial Bandshell building, 3240 Ferris, with seasonal displays, animatronic characters, a moving exhibit courtesy of the Lincoln Park Train Club, and a chance to visit and take photos with Santa Claus. Fantasyland welcomes about 20,000 visitors annually for a look at old-fashioned Christmas settings and activities. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Christmas Eve. Admission is $1, free for infants, and photos with Santa are available beginning at $3.
