MELVINDALE — Where the city is going and where it is are among the items up for discussion at the 6 p.m. March 24 Town Hall meeting at the John K. Kessey Field House Banquet Hall.
The mayor and council will discuss issues facing the city, City Administrator Richard Ortiz said. “They will talk about where we are going and the council will offer their thoughts to the mayor,” he said.
The mayor has invited major vendors, such as Waste Management and DTE to attend, allowing residents to ask questions, Ortiz said.
In addition, Councilwoman Medina Balderas will offer a demonstration on “how to make recycling easy.”
The city hosted one Town Hall meeting last year, and it had a nice turnout, he said.
Ortiz said they are hoping for another good turnout.
The arena is at 4300 S. Dearborn St.
