DCAC’s annual First Lady’s Tea April 25

DEARBORN – The Dearborn Community Arts Council will host its annual First Lady’s Tea at 1 p.m. April 25 at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course Clubhouse, 1300 S.Telegraph.

Tickets are $35, and can be purchased online via PayPal at www.dcacarts.org, by calling DCAC Executive Director Ralph Valdez at 313-943-3095, by email at [email protected] or by sending a check made out to DCAC, attn: FLT to: 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI, 48126.

Full tables also are available.

The event, honoring Dearborn’s first lady, Christina O’Reilly, offers an afternoon luncheon highly anticipated every year by many in the community.
As in years past, tables will be decorated by arts supporters, prominent community members and cultural and business organizations.

The luncheon features an assortment of fine teas complimented by Mimosas, salad, scones and muffins, assorted tea sandwiches and a dessert buffet. Guests will be serenaded by live music provided by accomplished flamenco guitarist Steve Jarosz while they enjoy the wide array of creative table settings, gift bags, door prizes and shop the Teatimes Treasures auction.

The highlight of the event is a keynote speaker to be announced.

Proceeds from the First Lady’s Tea fund programs and activities benefiting DCAC’s 46 umbrella groups and activities of Dearborn Senior Services.
