DEARBORN — The Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave lost power yesterday morning because of a DTE Energy issue.

Employees arrived to work about 8 a.m. to find the building had no electricity. DTE crews worked to restore the power and had it back on just before 11: 30 a.m.

“We were back up and running for the most part,” city Public Information Director Mary Laundroche said. “Only a few stray computers still need to reboot.”

Computers and phones were shut down, but employees were able to regain full use of them when power was restored.

DTE was checking what the cause of the three-hour power outage could have been.
