FOLD extends time for June sale

May 29, 2015 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The Friends of the Library-Dearborn will host a book and media sale from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 3 at Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.

The sale usually closes at 6 p.m., but this month will stay open an hour longer.

Items for sale include books, compact discs, DVDs, vinyl records, and much more. Special features this month are foreign language and medical books. Some older, vintage titles are also available that may be of interest to collectors.

And just in time for road trips this vacation season, families can find many bargains for both children and teens from fun beginning readers to chapter books and beyond.

The FOLD book sales are presented regularly on the first Wednesday of each month except January, August and September. All proceeds from the FOLD sales are used to support popular library programs.

FOLD is a non-profit citizens’ group that supports the library by sponsoring and funding library programs for patrons of all ages.
