July 3, 2015 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The city has a limited number of openings in the Community Tent at the 36th annual Homecoming festival on Aug. 7 to 9 at Ford Field Park.

The space is open for Dearborn-based non-profits to rent a booth for $300 to spread the word about their group, or for $350 to fundraise through activities or by selling items or packaged food.

Call 313-943-2183 to learn more or to get an application. Applications, with payment, are due by July 10.

More than two dozen nonprofit Dearborn groups participate in Homecoming. In 2014, the groups combined made $79,000 to support their activities, which strengthen the Dearborn community throughout the year.

Homecoming is organized by of the city of Dearborn and the nonprofit Dearborn Community Fund. Oakwood Healthcare is the presenting sponsor.
