Lanes closed, traffic affected for Military Street repaving

September 4, 2015 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – Lane closures are in effect on Military Street from Michigan Avenue to Beech Street for most of September for resurfacing of the street.

The project is expected to last four weeks, weather permitting. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Left turns from Military onto Michigan Avenue will not be permitted during construction work.

The intersection of Newman Street/West Village Drive will remain closed at Military for the duration of the project, to allow for faster replacement of the pavement.

The intersections of Park and Nona streets will remain open during the project.
