ALLEN PARK — State Rep. Frank Liberati will host a coffee hour from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept 28 at City Coffeehouse, 6623 Allen Road, to discuss issues currently affecting residents of District 13.

The public is invited; no reservations are necessary.

Based on Facebook posts on the Allen Park Politics page, many Allen Park residents are hoping to discuss the issues of the roads. The majority of roads in the city are in need of repair and an increase in the tax milage for road repair is on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.

Other residents are wondering if he will discuss his decision not to vote on the issue of expelling state Reps. Todd Coursor and Cindy Gamrat.

“I just ask that everyone be respectful of differences of opinion,” Liberati said in a Facebook post. “If the conversation happens to be about roads, former Reps. Courser and Gamrat, or education — So be it!”

Liberati can be contacted via telephone at 517-373-0845  or email at [email protected]
