HFC’s Fifty-One O One to host annual Oktoberfest Buffet Oct. 7

DEARBORN — Fifty-One O One – the student-run restaurant at Henry Ford College in the Student & Culinary Arts Center on the main campus, 5101 Evergreen – will host its annual Oktoberfest Buffet Oct. 7.

The price of the buffet is $15 per person. A cash bar featuring beer and wine is available for purchase during the dinner hours only.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch and from 6 to 8 p.m. for dinner.

The menu will consist of: Bavarian potato soup, Frankenmuth-style chicken, sauerbraten (carved to order), bratwurst and knackwurst with sauerkraut, braised red cabbage, späetzle, hot German potato salad and glazed baby carrots.

Additionally, there will be a salad bar, where customers can choose among tossed garden salad with assorted dressings, assorted pickled and fresh vegetables, cucumbers with dill-sour cream dressing and pickled beet salad.

For dessert will include apple strudel, Black Forest torte, German stollen bread assorted sweet rolls.
