TAYLOR – A December trial was scheduled for a 23-year-old Taylor man police and prosecutors said assaulted his ex-girlfriend and their infant daughter.

According to Wayne County Circuit Court records, Jeremey Joshua Rozycki will face a jury trial before Judge Margaret Van Houten beginning Dec. 9. Rozycki was arraigned last month on five felony charges after police said he broke into his former girlfriend’s house in the 11700 block of Pine Street Aug. 28 and, after a confrontation, raped the 23-year-old woman and physically assaulted the couple’s 3-year-old daughter.

Rozycki was initially charged in 23rd District Court with home invasion, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, third-degree child abuse and aggravated stalking. All charges were bound over to Circuit Court, and a final conference was scheduled for Nov. 13.
