Police searching for Check N Go robbers

MELVINDALE — Police are searching for three men involved with the armed robbery of Check N Go, 18304 Allen Road, Oct. 20.

Police said a teller and two customers were held at gunpoint in the store after a masked man entered the building at 4:08 p.m. A second masked man entered the store and instructed the cashier to fill a plastic bag with money. He then tie-wrapped the hands of the cashier and the two customers and made them lie on their stomachs.

The men then left on foot. It is believed they met a third person on a nearby side street, and got into a car.

The robbers were described as black males, age 20 to 30, approxiately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall.

The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

Anyone with any information on the robbery is asked to call the Melvindale Police Department at 313-429-1040.
