Trash delayed one day for Christmas, New Year’s in Dearborn; holiday closings outlined

DEARBORN – The Dearborn Administrative Center, the libraries, 19th District Court, the Dearborn Indoor Skating Center and the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center will be closed Dec. 24 and 25.

Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day starting on Christmas Day. Curbside pickup proceeds as normal on Christmas Eve.

The DAC, 19th District Court, and the libraries will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

The Ford Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 31, and the DISC will be open from noon to 2 p.m. for public skating.

On New Year’s Day, only the Ford Center will be open, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day starting on New Year’s Day. Curbside pickup proceeds as normal on New Year’s Eve.
