Nominations sought for 28th Mayor’s Arts Awards

DEARBORN — The public is invited to nominate deserving people for the 28th annual Mayor’s Arts Awards.

Hosted by the Mayor’s Office and Dearborn Community Arts Council, the awards honor the artists and members of the arts community of 2015. The also offer an opportunity to look back in appreciation of the artists, arts educators, arts volunteers and arts supporters in Dearborn and surrounding communities who keep the arts alive.

Nominations and accompanying materials can be mailed to DCAC Mayor’s Arts Awards Review Committee, 15801 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI, 48126, or emailed to DCAC Director Ralph Valdez at [email protected] The deadline is Jan. 9.

Nomination forms can be obtained by going to www.dcacarts.org.

The awards ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in Studio A of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.
