Trash delayed one day for New Year’s in Dearborn; holiday closings outlined

DEARBORN – The Dearborn Administrative Center, 19th District Court, and the libraries will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the New Year’s holiday.

The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 31, and the Dearborn Indoor Skating Center will be open from noon to 2 p.m. for public skating.

On New Year’s Day, only the Ford Center will be open, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day starting on New Year’s Day. Curbside pickup proceeds as normal on New Year’s Eve.
