HEIGHTS — A 64-year-old Dearborn man died during a five-vehicle crash about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at the intersection of Cherry Hill and Inkster roads.

It was unclear if the five vehicles were part of one crash or two separate crashes.

Police said the man killed was ejected from his vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt.
Two others were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation but snowy weather and road conditions could have been the reason, according to police reports.

Taylor and Inkster police were on the scene assisting Dearborn Heights officers.

The identity of the man was not immediately released. The roads were reopened by 11 p.m.
