School bus crashes into house

HEIGHTS — A school bus crashed into a house on Inkster Road about 4 p.m. Jan. 14 after another vehicle veered off the road and hit the bus

The school bus was traveling near the intersection of Inkster Road and Annapolis when the white Mercedes hit the bus causing the crash into the corner house.

According to reports, the house is unoccupied and was shoved off its foundation due to the bus crash.

No children were on then bus at the time of the crash. Bus driver Kameelah Sharpley had just made her last stop at Annapolis and Middlebelt before the incident occurred.

Neither Sharpley nor the driver of the Mercedes were injured.
