WYANDOTTE – The city will host a citywide shred day for residents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 30.

The event will take place in the parking lot of City Hall, 3200 Biddle. The event is to promote and educate environmentally responsible recycling of paper through safe and secure shredding.

The city is using WIRES II Grant to fund the shredding machine, not to exceed $650. Residents can bring up to 50 pounds of paper for shredding. All paper needs to be absent of metal, such as staples and paperclips.
