Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 pulls into Greenfield Village April 30. For three back-to-back weekends — April 30 and May 1, May 7 and 8, and May 14 and 15 — little engineers and their families are invited to take a 20-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends-themed activities.

DEARBORN ─ Start your engines! Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to team up with him for a day of family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016.

Children can join Team Thomas when the No. 1 Engine pulls into Greenfield Village April 30 for three weekends.

Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled event that provides children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard and take a ride with Thomas as well as participate in Thomas & Friends-themed activities. For three back-to-back weekends — April 30 and May 1, May 7 and 8, and May 14 and 15 — little engineers and their families are invited to take a 20-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends-themed activities.

Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart every 30 minutes, rain or shine. Departure times are 9:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. each day.

Tickets for Day Out With Thomas are $11.75 for members, age 1 year and older and include free admission to Greenfield Village. Ticket prices for non-member children age 1 to 4 are $11.75, children age 5-12 are $31.25, adults age 13 to 61 are $37.75 and seniors age 62 and up are $35.25.

The tour, in its 21st year, is presented by Fisher-Price.

Thomas the Tank Engine is the star of “Thomas & Friends” making tracks to destinations on PBS Kids and Sprout. Along with his engine friends, Thomas captivates children in more than 300 territories and 40 languages. The No. 1 blue engine and his friends invite children to enter a world of imagination through the tracks of a train and the words of a story.
