May 1, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

A Wayne County woman is calling her travel agent after winning $300,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Super Bingo instant game.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, won the big prize on a ticket she bought at CVS/pharmacy, 22300 Goddard Road in Taylor.

The player went to Lottery headquarters April 19 to claim her prize. With her winnings, she plans to travel and help her son and daughter.

Players have won more than $9.5 million playing Super Bingo, which launched in December 2015. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $11.7 million in prizes remain, including two $300,000 top prizes, eight $10,000 prizes, and 24 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
