DEARBORN — More than 240 people attended this year’s annual Mother’s Day Tea at Oakwood Common.

Reminiscent of an English “high tea,” wait staff dressed in Victorian period costumes to serve an assortment of petit fours, finger sandwiches, scones and specialty teas to guests seated at tables decorated with fine china and fresh floral bouquets.

Dressed in their finery, daughters, nieces, granddaughters and other guests attended the event to honor the women at Oakwood Common.
