June 4, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The city’s third annual City Golf Championship Tournament, originally scheduled for the first weekend in June at Dearborn Hills Course, has been rescheduled for Sept. 10 and 11.

The event, open to adult golfers from Dearborn and the surrounding area, will feature 18 holes of play each day, beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

The two-day tournament will also include a closest-to-the-pin contest each day and an awards luncheon following the second round.

Prospective participants can register online at www.dearbornhills.com, over the phone at 313-563-4653, or in person at the pro shop.

The cost is $55 per golfer or $200 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf each day, three tokens each round — good for food or a beverage at the turn — and the awards luncheon. The cost does not include the use of a cart.

Dearborn Hills Golf Course is at 1300 S. Telegraph Road.

For further information, call 313-563-4653.
