Memorial for longtime DHS English teacher June 25

Dorothy Wolfe lived to be 101

DEARBORN — The Dearborn Historical Museum will host a memorial gathering for longtime teacher Dorothy V. Wolfe at 2 p.m. June 25 at the McFadden-Ross House, 915 S. Brady.

Wolfe died April 16, at an assisted-living facility in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was 101.

A Dearborn resident for 65 years, she taught English at Dearborn High School from 1948 to 1981 She was a member of the Dearborn Historical Society and the Dearborn branch of the American Association of University Women, and she chaired Dearborn’s United Nations Day celebration for several years during the 1970s.
