June 19, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Area seniors, ages 50 and over, are invited to take part in the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department’s pickleball program at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

Pickleball, similar to badminton, but employing a plastic ball and wooden paddles, is offered from 9 a.m. to noon Monday and Wednesday.

Equipment is provided, although players are encouraged to provide their own.

The cost is $3 for Dearborn residents and $4 for non-residents, payable at the service desk. Pass holders are free.

For further information, call 313-943-2412.
