Police searching for pharmacy robbery suspect

DEARBORN — Police are seeking to identify a man involved in an armed robbery at a local pharmacy June 25.

The man entered Cherry Hill Pharmacy, 23100 Cherry Hill, about 1:30 p.m. demanding money from employees. Armed with a handgun, the man threatened employees, stole property from the pharmacy and then fled.

He was described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old with a thin build and a sleeve tattoo on his right arm. During the robbery the man was wore a white long sleeve shirt, khaki cargo shorts and blue hat with the words “Detroit Pistons” written on the front.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man in the the pharmacy’s surveillance video.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dearborn police tip line at 313-943-3030 or contact Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 800-SPEAK-UP.

“Our No. 1 priority is citizen safety,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “We will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator is identified and brought to justice. We are urging the public to assist us in identifying this dangerous individual.”
