LINCOLN PARK – Voters who typically cast ballots at Keppen School – Precinct 14 – will be redirected to another location Tuesday due to construction projects.

The temporarily relocated balloting will instead be at Kennedy Memorial Building, 3240 Ferris Ave., during the Aug. 2 primary election.

Along with county and state primaries and uncontested congressional races, city voters will be asked to approve the renewal of a dedicated 3.4591-mill levy for another three years to finance police and fire operations. If approved the renewal would generate an estimated $1.7 million for public safety services.

The lone local question on the ballot joins primary contests for county and state offices, along with Wayne County parks and zoo millage renewals.
Voter information is available at the city clerk’s office at 313-386-1800.
