Police in the Park

TAYLOR — Residents and police will come together Sept. 25 for a day of appreciation and understanding between the community and law enforcement.

The event is set noon to 4 p.m. at the Taylor Conservatory, 22314 Northline. Live music, hot dogs, refreshments and a chili cookoff will be featured, and residents can meet the officers. There also will be children’s activities, corn hole, dunk tank and K9 unit demonstrations. In addition, U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Dearborn) will be present.

The event is sponsored by the city, Fraternal Order of Police Associate Lodge 123, Rotary Club of Taylor and Taylor Conservatory.
