Annual pasta dinner supports animal shelter

October 2, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit supporter and Dearborn resident Pat D’Ambrosio will serve up some paws-itively perfect pasta to benefit the area’s animals from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10 at Park Place Catering, 23400 Park St.

Tickets are $30 and include salad, bread, mostaccioli with meat sauce and meatballs — also a meatless marina sauce choice — and dessert. Children under 5 are free.

Tickets are available at www.metrodetroitanimals.org.

“Pat’s pasta dinner is always a highlight,” FAMD Executive Director Elaine Greene said. “His generosity and the support of all the enthusiastic diners help the animals throughout our community find forever homes.”

So far this year, more than 1,150 animals have found new homes through FAMD.
