DEARBORN – The city invites veterans, reserve and active duty military personnel or their family members to submit their names and dates of service for inclusion in a special tribute at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony Nov. 11.
This is the second year for this request. Names submitted in 2015 will be included.
Veterans or family members who did not submit names in 2015 should submit their information, via email, by Oct. 17 to [email protected]
Include the veteran’s name, rank, military branch and dates of service. Information will be included in a Scroll of Honor played in the lobby of the Michael A. Guido Theater at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave., Nov. 11.
Inside the theater at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, Dearborn will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Presented in conjunction with the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council, the event will honor the DAWVC’s 2016 Dearborn Veteran of Year.
The public is invited to attend the free event.
