October 16, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Police are seeking the public’s help in solving an Oct. 13 bank robbery.

About 10:40 a.m., a woman entered DFCU Financial, 21551 Oakwood Blvd., and passed a note to one of the tellers. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the woman fled in a white, older model minivan.

The woman was described as black and heavy set.

“The Dearborn Police Department will aggressively investigate this crime and utilize all available resources in doing so,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “We are urging the public to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspect involved in this crime.”

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAKUP or www.1800speakup.org.
