Zeal accepting nominations for hardest working teacher

October 23, 2016 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

If you know a teacher who demonstrates hard work, empathy and passion for teaching, Zeal Credit Union invites you to submit your nomination online at www.HardestWorkingTeacher.com.

The credit union is accepting nominations for metropolitan Detroit teachers, in grades K-12, until October 31. You do not have to be a member of the credit union to make the nomination.

In November, a committee will narrow down the nominations to 10 finalists with online voting to occur from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15.

The winning teacher will receive $500 for his or her classroom, $500 for the school, and a pizza party for the teacher’s class.
“We want to recognize hard working teachers who demonstrate character, empathy and passion every day for their students and school,” said Lisa Fawcett, Zeal vice president of marketing. “These are the same qualities that drive our credit union and members who are hard working Americans.”
