Dearborn Libraries celebrate 50th anniversary of groundbreaking

DEARBORN – The Dearborn Public Library is commerating the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking of the Henry Ford Centennial Library in December.

As part of this celebration, the library is offering a fines amnesty program. Patrons who return overdue library books and material between Nov. 28 and Dec. 14 will be eligible to receive partial or total amnesty for the fines they have accrued.

Additionally, from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 14, Dearborn Public Library invites the community to celebrate the historic groundbreaking of the Henry Ford Centennial Library at 16301 Michigan Ave.

Library tours, online resource demonstrations, a photo exhibit, and more will take place that day. The library will share with the public new and expanded services and resources.
