WAYNE — St. Mary Catholic School will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 29 at the school, 34516 W. Michigan Ave.

St. Mary offers preschool through eighth grade education to Catholic and non-Catholic students. It also offers enrichment programs beyond the basic curriculum such as CYO sports, spelling bees, academic Olympics, student council, children’s vocal and bells choirs, band, Scouting, and Before & After School Care.

St. Mary is fully accredited, and its students score consistently above average nationwide on the Iowa Standardized Test. Teachers of grades 6 to 8 use the Middle School Model to prepare students for high school.
