Menards to break ground at old Gibraltar Trade Center site

January 26, 2017 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TAYLOR – Menard Inc. will break ground in the spring for the new Menards on Eureka between Telegraph and Allen roads, deemed Eureka Way, Mayor Rick Sollars said.

He said city officials were informed Jan. 17, that the project received the green light from the owners of the company and will proceed accordingly this year.

“As many of you are aware, there were some delays this past fall and winter,” Sollars said of the business that will be on the former Gibraltar Trade Center land.

In addition, Sollars said the city will be announcing additional new partners along the Eureka Way corridor in the upcoming months. Known businesses include La-Z-Boy, Bubba’s 33 and BJ’s Brewhouse.
