Goddard overpass demolition complete

Photo by Sue Suchyta Goddard Road was closed at I-75 Feb. 6 as crews worked to remove the existing southbound I-75 overpass in preparation for replacing the overpass with two smaller bridges. The demolition was completed the afternoon of Feb. 9, and Goddard Road was reopened to traffic. The work is part of the almost two-year I-75 reconstruction project between Springwells in Detroit and Northline Road in Southgate.
