LINCOLN PARK – A 26-year-old man died after being found unconscious on a bus stop bench at Fort Street and Champaign about 6:30 a.m. Feb. 3.

The man, identified as Michael Paul Posa, was lying on the bench. Police report his breathing was shallow. Rapid Response and Lincoln Park firefighters were called and Posa was taken to Wyandotte Henry Ford Hospital where he died later that day.

When checking Posa’s property, police discovered suspected heroin in his left coat pocket. The suspected substance was inside a folded lottery ticket inside of a plastic wrapper. It is pending a review.
