The program begins with information and training at 1 p.m. at 1100 N. Main in Ann Arbor. This will include classroom-based training, introducing goals and methods and techniques.

Techniques and topics covered will include water sampling, measuring direct water chemistry, estimated stream flow, and program logistics. Hands-on training in field techniques take place in April during the first week of sampling.
