Free kids activities 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 24 in West Village Commons

DEARBORN –  A new opportunity for families to enjoy free events begins Saturday at the West Village Commons plaza.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the plaza, which is closed to vehicle traffic, will be the site for Kids’ Day, featuring music, jugglers, face painters, balloon sculptors and inflatable rides, all free.

It is the first of four Saturdays geared to free activities. The other days are July 29, Aug. 26 and Sept. 23. The special Kids’ Days follow Friday Nites and Foodie Rallies events 5 to 10 p.m. in the plaza the fourth Fridays in June, July and August (no Friday event in September).

The schedule for June 24 is:

11 a.m. to noon — Chautauqua Express featuring Guy Louis
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Tim Rowlands Comedy & Juggling (plus strolling)
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Pebbles the Clown (strolling)
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Balloon Sculptures & Airbrush Tattoos
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.— Inflatables: Obstacle Course & Moon Bouncer
12:45 to 1:15 p.m. — Tim Rowlands Comedy & Juggling
2 to 3 p.m. — Chautauqua Express featuring Guy Louis
