Tree trimming continues in Taylor

TAYLOR — The city has contracted with Pro Stump Grinding to perform trimming of city trees at various locations. The streets that will be trimmed are between Champaign to Hayes and Banner to Mills.

Work began the first week of September with a completion date of Nov. 3, weather permitting.

The contractor will give 24 hours advance notice before the work is to be performed. Working hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Residents are advised to park vehicles in other so the work can be performed in a safe and timely manner. Trash and recycle pickup will continue on their regularly scheduled days. Cans are to be placed curbside as normal.
