Photo courtesy of Downriver Gymnastics Spiderman dropped in and showed off his gymnastics prowess at Downriver Gymnastics, 13777 Eureka in Southgate, Sept. 16 as students and coaches celebrated National Gymnastics Day and raised money for Children's Hospital of Michigan. Participants raised $735 in memory of a staff member's child, Lucas Barry, who spent most of his short life at Children's Hospital. The money was raised through raffles, donations and open workout proceeds. In keeping with this year's superhero theme, attendees enjoyed obstacle courses, agility tests and speed training.
