‘Glorious Color’ on display at Padzieski Gallery through Nov. 9

DEARBORN — The Colored Pencil Society of America, Michigan Chapter, presents a juried competition of new work in an exhibition called “Glorious Color” through Nov. 9 at Padzieski Art Gallery in the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

An Opening Party will be available to the public from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19.

The juror for the exhibition is arts educator Anthony Bacon, professor at the College for Creative Studies Creative Arts Project in Detroit. He also is an Arts and Humanities professor at Schoolcraft College where he teaches watercolor and drawing classes, woks as a continuing education instructor and also mentors children and teens.

All awards will be announced at the Opening Party.

The Ford Center is at 15801 Michigan Ave.
